Located on the South Shore, our race management and consulting services company will provide you with outstanding service for your road race needs so you can focus on the main purpose of your event.  Whether it be a fundraiser for a friend or family member or a local cause, our services will allow you to spend the time speaking with prospective sponsors, securing volunteers and being the spokesperson of your event while we handle the details.

We can help with the organization and marketing of your existing event to bring you more runners which raises additional funds for your charity.  We can also help you create an event and work side by side with you to make sure all details are covered and your event is created according to your plan.

CHARITIES
Each one of the races we work with has a charity component to it.  The charities that you'll see supported at many of our events are:

Kathy Frank Scholarship Fund (Frankies Friends)
On April 25, 2011 at the age of 44, Kathy lost her 2 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer.  She left behind her husband and 2 teenage children.  Her family and friends have established a scholarship fund to be awarded to a Silver Lake graduate who is entering the nursing field as Kathy was a nurse for many years.

The Boys and Girls Club of Plymouth
The club's mission statement is "We instill in our members a sense of belonging, a sense of usefulnes, a sense of competence and a sense of upward influence in their club."  Some programs the club sponsors include sports, fitness, nutrition, music,  social activity, music photography and so much more.

Friends of South Shore Hospital
The Friends of South Shore Hospital is made up of community members and volunteers that focus solely on raising money for areas of the hospital that are in need of funding.  The Friends raises money for Cardiovascular Care, Emergency Care, Home Care, Growing Families and more.  Friends is currently the single largest donor organization to South Shore Hospital.

I just wanted to tell you that the race was terrific. This was my first time doing this race but I have been running road races since 1997 and this one was one of the best.

I've never run this race before, and wasn't sure what to expect, but I wanted to tell you that I was blown away at how well organized everything was!  Overall, the race was seamless and beautiful and quite well run, you and your team obviously know what you're doing.  I'm so glad I participated, and I'll be back next year!

This is one of THE most organized races I have ever run.  I LOVE (!!!!) that it starts right on time, there are plenty of volunteers, there are plenty of water stops - perfect actually because I knew I would not need to run with water and the finish line is very well organized.  I would say Don't Change a THING!!!

I can honestly say this has been my favorite race I have ever done, I will definitely be signing up next year. Plenty of water stops, great course, great finish line area - everything was perfect.

What we do:
  • Consultation on race distance and course design
  • Secure timing company
  • Online posting – all running websites, broadcast notification to all Massachusetts running clubs and running stores, Facebook
  • Online registration setup and management with weekly reports to you on activity for your upcoming event
  • Assist with brochure distribution promoting your event at local races
  • Link to your website from our site and online registration
  • Signs, markings and race day setup.  We will come out and put up signs, mark the course and provide help with setup and registration services on race day.
  • Meet with police to review placement needs
  • Supply timing company with all registration information – email addresses will not be used for any other purposes than to notify participants of information for this specific event only.  Email addresses will not be shared with any other outside party or used for solicitation purposes.
  • Online marketing to all Massachusetts running clubs and press information to newspapers
  • Negotiate pricing on tshirts, trophies, printers/signage, tents, tables, etc.
  • Manage race day registration with race director
  • Number of race committee volunteers needed
  • Number of race day volunteers needed with locations and job descriptions for each
  • Post race feedback survey
ABOUT US
Anne Marie Winchester is the race director for both Run to the Rock and Set the Pace.  She has participated in many races as a runner, a manager or a volunteer.  Her running resume includes 7 marathons, a 50 mile ultra marathon, the Mount Washington Road Race, TREK New England, Reach the Beach Relay and yearly participation in many of the local road races.   annemarie@southshoreracemgmt.com

Christen (Chrissy) Gurney is the Runners Tent, Registration and Transportation Manager for Run to the Rock and has also participated in several local and national road races.  Chrissy has completed 3 marathons, a 50 mile ultra marathon and a 50K trail run, as well as participating in many of the local road races as either a runner, a manager or a volunteer.  chrissy@southshoreracemgmt.com
